Shen Yun Performing Arts was established in New York in 2006 with a mission to restore the 5,000 years of divinely inspired culture that flourished throughout the Chinese civilization through performing arts. Our shows provide not only high-quality entertainment for audiences, but also present the great values and wisdom from ancient divine culture and traditions.

The company presents a new program every season, with all music composition, dance choreography, and all costume design and production completed in house at our campus in New York.

Shen Yun’s all-original music compositions combine Chinese and Western instruments, melding the spirit and distinctiveness of Chinese music with the precision and power of the Western symphony orchestra. Shen Yun tours across four continents and performs in the most prestigious theatres in the world.
